The Rensselaer County Department of Health will hold an immunization clinic at the Hoosick Falls Branch Office 145 Main St on Tuesday from 6 30 to 7 30 p.m. Parents facing financial difficulty for private immunization are urged to use these clinical facilities to protect their children with vaccines.
Burr and Burton Seminary officials prepare Homecoming events with a Friday night variety show at the BBS gym, a 10 a.m. soccer game at the Fairgrounds, a quarry tour at 11 a.m., a 12 p.m. chicken barbecue overseen by trustees Wilcox and Smith, and a 2 p.m. football clash on Pettibone Field against Windsor High School.
About 25 members of the Huff and Puffers International Bicycle Touring Society began a 12 day 600 mile circuit from Wilmington through Vermont and New Hampshire ending back at the Old Red Mill. Members range from 32 to 74 and travel from across the United States and abroad. They travel at individual paces with daily meetups and favor back roads for scenery. They carry lightweight bikes, spare tire, rain gear, tool kit, dog repellent and energy mix.
Manchester police reported two children were injured when their uncle's car was struck by a Massachusetts auto on U S 7 north of Manchester Center Monday afternoon. David Baker 4 and William Baker 18 months, sons of Mr and Mrs David C Baker, were bumped and bruised. David was thrown from the car along with his brother Glen who was not in the vehicle.

In another item, a two-vehicle crash near Manchester Mobile Park injures one child and causes extensive damage. no serious injuries reported to the drivers, and an attending physician was Dr. Clifford B. Harwood.
Mose Williams Jr. of Manchester Village received head cuts and leg lacerations in a Sunday night one car crash on River Road. Police said Williams, alone in a 1964 car, struck an embankment a tree and a rail fence, a fence piece driving through the windshield. Wet road conditions prevailed and he was treated at the scene.
