One Killed Three Injured In Car Crash
Clarence Wildman 28 of Dalton Mass was killed and three Williams students injured last night at 8 p m when their car left College Road near Bennington College and hit a tree. Jonathan Bosworth 18 Pittsfield Mass bruised right leg Donald McGill 18 Darien Conn back and knee injuries John Hauck 18 Cincinnati Ohio head chest and knee injuries were admitted to Putnam Memorial Hospital. Wildman was the driver. Police report unavailable. Friday they would vote for Scott. Senator Margaret Chase Smith declined to disclose her choice citing inappropriateness. Senator Norris Cotton publicly uncommitted though reported leaning toward George L. Hruska. Howard H Baker Jr of Tennessee had no supporters among seven senators. The five backing Scott are Edward W Brooke George D Aiken Winston Prouty Charles E Goodell and Jacob K Javits. Prouty called Scott closer in philosophy and worthy as minority leader.
