Manchester store zoning dispute at Heinel’s Main Street site
In Manchester Center a new Heinel store faces questions of zoning compliance as the building encroaches four feet into the setback. The Zoning Board of Adjustment heard Heinel’s appeal for a variance and questioned right-of-way, permit origin, and town involvement, while officials urged pre and post construction inspections. An unrelated decision granted a storage property extension for Joseph Saunders’ multi-family plan after debate over lot capacity and service burden.
