State DAR Unit Will Meet At Equinox House
The 17th State Conference of the Vermont State Society DAR will be held at Equinox House and First Congregational Church in Manchester September 22 to 24. Local Ormsby Chapter with Bennington and Brattleboro chapters hosts two three day events starting with a Sept 22 reception featuring Judge and Mrs. Wilson King Barnes and Mrs. Nile E. Faust. The program includes talks by the guests, a slide show by Mr and Mrs Dan Nobel, a memorial service, a tour of Old First Church, and a concert by local Manchester musicians.
