Putnam Hospital awards 23 diplomas to practical nurses

In a Sunday ceremony at Mt Anthony Union High School auditorium Putnam Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing granted 23 diplomas to graduates. The 25th year program honored Patricia Hernandez as acting director with diplomas conferred by Frances P. Crozier. Graduation speaker James E Lauve urged self knowledge and goals, stressing the caretaker role in helping professions.
