Anniversary surprise honors Rogers on 45th year
A 45th wedding anniversary surprise was held October 10 at the Eagles Hall for Mr. and Mrs. Ralph R. Rogers Sr. of 159 Ben Mont Ave. Their 15 children hosted the event attended by about 150 friends and relatives. The couple, married October 11, 1926, at St. Francis de Sales Church, were joined by many from Troy Albany Hoosick Falls Nahant and surrounding areas. Relatives circulated the guest book and gifts included a money tree, corsage boutonniere and a family party cake baked by Darlene Olin. Both are retired.
