Selectmen Issue Junkyard Permit to Olin in Bennington
Bennington selectmen decided to issue a junkyard license to Fred Olin of Green Acres after a six month impasse. The decision followed a recent inspection and a claim by Olin that prior reports of his business closing were false. Officials acknowledged fence requirements but noted Olin had improved his premises, though state law enforcement remains a point of contention.
