Viet Shy Soldier Ordered To Rejoin Combat Unit
Pvt. Winster R. Belton, 26, who hunger struck to avoid Viet Nam, is ordered to rejoin the 1st Cavalry Division in the Central Highlands. Convicted of neglect of duty, he received a suspended five year term and loss of rank. he may be honorably discharged after eight months.

Net-Fishing Indians at War With Washington Wardens
A band of Indians fought state game wardens enforcing a net fishing ban near Nisqually River in Washington. About 50 people clashed with two dozen officers, six Indians were arrested and later released on bonds. Indian claim rests on a Medicine Creek treaty 110 years old.
