Vermont Fish and Game Commissioner Edward F. Kehoe plans major shifts to diversify revenue away from deer licenses. A new chief fisheries biologist will oversee a push to develop Lake Champlain as a top coldwater fishery, using put grow and take methods and hatchery programs to stock tributaries with landlocked salmon, rainbow trout, lake trout, and steelhead.
