Candlemaking at The Candle Mill Draws Vermont Visitors
Vermont visitors tour The Candle Mill in East Arlington to watch historical candlemaking steps from threading to pouring. The site offers daily demonstrations during fall foliage with exhibits of tin moulds, fragrant wax blends, and a scenic mill setting along a mountain stream. The owners, the Weakleys, also run two shops inside a nearby hay barn, The Happy Cook and Whe Way Loft Gallery, selling cookware, prints, and Wyeth reproductions near Route 7.
