Harvard Freshman Hurt In Cycle Crash At Maple And Gage
A Harvard University freshman, John Franchot, 24, of Cambridge, was treated at Putnam Memorial Hospital for a cut thigh after a Sunday afternoon crash at Maple Street and Gage Street involving a motorcycle and a car. He was listed in good condition. Kenneth Turner, 23, of Robinson Avenue, received a cut lip when his car struck a parked vehicle on Ben Mont Avenue near County Street as he reportedly fell asleep. Bennington police investigated windows broken at Bennington Auto Wrecking and Junk Co. on East Main Street Sunday night.
