Fire blamed on old wiring at Bonnie Bank Inn
Berkshire Stockbridge fire investigators say faulty electrical wiring caused the September blaze that destroyed the 145 year old Bonnie Bank Inn formerly Edgemont. The two story building on Stockbridge-Lenox Road was bought last June by Achille Cibelli. The inn was built in 1830 by Noah Rogers Bradley, a descendant of Elisha Bradley who arrived in 1776 from New Haven. In separate town business, officials report US Fiber Corp installed an air filtering system to stop a year long dust storm and now recycles all dust as the plant operates fully enclosed, addressing residents' health concerns at Marble Street convalescent home.
