Queen Contest crowns Bennington Fall Foliage royalty
Two local girls were chosen as Miss Diane Whitney and Miss Joan Marcoux to reign over Bennington’s 11th Fall Foliage Festival. Whitney, 17, and Marcoux, 14, emerged from 59 contestants with Whitney to serve as senior queen, while Marcoux becomes first junior queen. Whitney will present a trophy at the BCHS Windsor football game and attend VFW events, flanked by four runners up.
