St Albans leads in insured unemployment at 8.9 percent. benefits paid last week were 438,575. Other areas ranged from 3.6 to 7.1 percent.

Theodore Becker age 14 of Searsburg died after a companion’s .35 rifle discharged in a field off Boyd Hill Road Wilmington Police say Becker died instantly from a head wound. It was the third fatal hunting accident of the season with Londonderry also reporting deaths. Becker was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was released by the Windham County State's Attorney's office.
