In Glens Falls New York Gustave Cohen tests a plan to deter pigeons from his Outlet Barn by placing over 100 green rubber snakes on windowsills and ledges. The 18 inch snakes are nailed so they hang and flutter with the wind seeking to scare the birds. If effective the cost of 50 cents per snake is minimal.
