County homemakers display quilts in Rupert fall meeting
Warm memories lay beneath old hand-made quilts at the Bennington County Extension Homemakers Council fall meeting. County vice president Mrs. Malcolm Clough arranged the exhibit and urged identifying each quilt by pattern, maker, and age. The Rupert Congregational Church, founded in 1786, provided an authentic backdrop for the display.
