Lorimar expands TV presence with drama driven projects
Hollywood reports Lorimar Productions builds on its CBS hit The Waltons with new weekly dramas and specials. Apple’s Way debuts on CBS February 10 about a Los Angeles architect returning to Appleton Iowa. A Christmas Eve two hour drama Christmas Dreams on ABC with Hari Rhodes stars as a minister relocated from Arkansas to Los Angeles. The Homecoming inspired The Waltons and may influence future Lorimar projects as CBS and NBC contend with Disney’s The Walt Disney Hour and The FBI.
