62 Men Die In Diamond Mine Blast Near Buffelsfontein

Pownal Man Injured In Freak Mishap
A Pownal man Delbert Darling, 63, was struck by two vehicles driven by twin brothers near the Vermont Massachusetts line at 6 pm yesterday. Albert Winchester 42 of Madison Conn swerved to avoid him in an International Scout, followed by John Winchester 42 of Old Greenwich Conn in a Chevrolet sedan. Darling was taken to North Adams Hospital in critical condition.
