Whitingham Farms Denies Fraud Charges
Clifford W. Jarvis of Windsor Locks Conn and Whitingham Vermont pleaded innocent to 26 fraud counts tied to a 2000 acre vacation home development. He appeared in Vermont District Court as Windham County State's Attorney David Gibson and Secretary of State Richard C Thomas sought a $1 million performance bond to prove solvency. The state license action cited only 7.16 dollars in net assets against over 5,000 dollars in liabilities. Jarvis was released on his own recognizance and the case was continued for trial.

Nixon to address nation on Vietnam war ending effort

Six Cuba hijackers return to face U S charges
