Restrictions Placed On JFK Autopsy Data
The Kennedy autopsy photographs X-rays and color transparencies totaling 114 X rays 25 black and white negatives and 26 color transparencies have been turned over to the National Archives by the Kennedy family at the request of the Justice Department The release addresses long standing questions about why the Warren Commission did not have access to these images The pictures were taken at Bethesda Naval Medical Center on the night of November 22 1963 and verified by two of the three involved pathologists The matter followed criticism of the commission and public interest in the autopsy materials Bishop James A Pike had urged their disclosure.

Russian Satellite Explodes In Space Mystery
Washington reports a large Soviet spacecraft exploded shortly after Sept 17 launch, producing at least 51 pieces with nine remaining in orbit by Oct 15. Three small unidentified objects orbit Earth, likely debris from a space launch. Debris detectable down to six inches.

Vermonters Die in N H Air Crash
A Windsor Vermont industrialist Edward Ned Sinclair and his son Hugh were found dead in a charred PA 24 Piper Comanche near Route 101 Bedford New Hampshire after a flight from Claremont to Beverly Massachusetts. The single engine aircraft vanished Tuesday night and was located about 8 am. Fire and missing engine reports preceded authorities from FAA.
