Dailey gravel pit permit extended in Bennington County
District Environmental Commissioners in Bennington County granted a five year extension for the Dailey gravel pit permit after confirming the original conditions and noting the misstep that let the prior permit lapse. Neighbors questioned hot mix plant coverage and noise from the site. A separate permit for a quarter acre pond near Applegate Associates was approved with a future amendment clause if the area is converted to recreation.
