Bear disrupts morning routine near North Hoosick drive-in
In North Hoosick New York Mrs Wilkie confronted a large bear at 6:30 a.m. in the family garage while heading to work. Her husband fetched a rifle but only buckshot remained. After a clash the bear departed leaving their dog with a broken leg, reportedly from the bear’s blow. The couple blamed the incident on the film King of the Grizzlies being shown at the local drive-in.
