Reminders For Leaders Event Weekend In Bennington County
Memorial Day weekend brings two major 4-H activities in Bennington County. A junior leader campout near 4H Camp Ondawa features SPAGHETTI breakfasts, ghost stories and camping. permission cards due at the Extension Office by May 29. A horse clinic hosted by Bald Mt. 4-H Horse Club runs May 31 and June 1 at Manchester Bullhead Pond, with care, grooming and riding instruction for all youth. Also note a Tractor Safety Course completed with nine local youths gaining certification after two Sunday sessions. Teen Leaders Conference in Burlington set for June 24-26, register by May 28.
