May North Bennington Baptist Women donate to church fund
At a May meeting Mrs. Carl Jolivette hosted the Baptist Women's Fellowship voted $300 to the church building fund leaving $140 in treasury. They approved paying expenses for five delegates to the Vermont Women's Conference at Thetford June 24 to 26. Volunteers were sought to supply summer flowers for the sanctuary and two boys were needed for summer church work. The White Cross quota was completed and shipped. No meetings will be held until September. A June 21 picnic is planned at the Baptist Home in Brattleboro with 2 pm departure. Slides of the Rev Scott anniversary party were shown during the social hour. Memorial Day exercises will be held in the school gym Thursday. The last hot lunch day is May 28 with milk for cold lunches for the rest of the year.
