Hoff on Campaign Trail Here in Bennington

Former governor Philip Hoff campaigns in Bennington on a two day tour to discuss Senate candidacy with residents. He visits a day care center and hosts informal coffee hour discussions at several homes across Bennington County including Pownal Arlington and Manchester. Two suspects in a false alarm case near Brooklyn Bridge were later apprehended and await arraignment in Bennington District Court.

Increase Sought In Debt Ceiling Debate

The Nixon administration urged Congress for 18 billion dollars more borrowing authority to prevent a July 1 debt ceiling drop from 365 billion. Rep. MAU HS Directors Prepare for June 18 School Board Election

Mt Anthony Union High School directors reviewed election procedures and polling locations for the June 18 at large school board vote.
