Farmers Museum nears completion in Arlington
Master carpenter Clyde Dunlap helps assemble the so called Farmer's Museum attached to the Rescue Squad building in Arlington. Volunteers worked four days from a May 15 foundation to a roof. The project is by the Arlington Area Bicentennial Committee and the Rescue Squad which donated land and funded the foundation. The museum will operate for two years and then serve as a Rescue Squad meeting hall. Robert Lindsey says ample antique farm and household items have been donated to fill three structures. Public opening is planned for Memorial Day Weekend.
