A 21 year old Temple University student from Levittown Pa is missing after a hike along the Long Trail near Glastenbury. state police and volunteers mounted a large search with aircraft, bloodhounds and 25 troopers from across the state, as trackers followed her last known direction toward Deer Lick River.

Two armed bandits robbed Randolph National Bank in Rochester this morning and escaped with more than $5,000. Police pursued a wine colored late model car with roadblocks across central Vermont.
