Private Wilmington school for learning disorders eyed
A private Wilmington school for youths with learning difficulties may open on a 40 acre Stone Hill Road site, with a summer day camp. The Wilmington Learning Center would serve 20 to 30 students aged 10 to 16, at about 8000 dollars tuition per student yearly, and involve extensive renovations costing over 200 thousand dollars. The project had no opposition at the Zoning Board hearing and is planned by a New Jersey corporation with Windham Development Corp as owner.
