Vermont participates in interstate police compact use at Dartmouth
Vermont under the New England Interstate Police Compact mobilized 12 0 troopers from all districts to aid 70 New Hampshire officers in disbursing a 56 person student occupation at Dartmouth College. Govs Peterson and Davis coordinated deployment across the Connecticut River to Hanover and White River Junction. The venture marks the first actual cross border expedition for Vermont under the pact, with fines and transport costs to be borne by requesting states if applicable.
