Manchester Program seeks mainstream return for students
Bennington Banner reports that six Burr and Burton trustees and the BBSU board reviewed moving Manchester Program students back into Burr and Burton classes next fall. They noted staff difficulties with transition and questioned ongoing staff support. The program, funded largely by private donations, could be run as a state approved private school if pursued. Trustees debated whether the move could occur by September and how non graduating students would fare.
