Montague Seeks GOP Governor Bid in Vermont
Westford constable Harry R. Montague 45 announced Friday his bid for the Republican nomination for governor. He urged responsive leadership, fiscal responsibility, and better government management, saying Vermonters should govern themselves free of outside pressure. Montague, on a farm with his wife Ann and three children, serves on the school board and environmental commission and led the Vermont Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs in 1969-70.

Rutland Lawyer Enters Vermont U.S. House Race
