Dorset farmer outwits three wild heifers with corral trap
Junior Nichols and helpers domesticate three wild heifers after a winter of evading capture. They construct a six foot high corral with a rope gated trap, lure the beasts with hay, then rope and transport the three cows to a barn. Neighbors assist, with one breaking a leg in the effort. Nichols says the cattle will tame in two weeks and rejects a prior $900 offer.
