Yanks Under Johnny Keane Are Becoming Invincible
The New York Yankees, five straight spring wins under new manager Johnny Keane, look unbeatable as they rally past the Pittsburgh Pirates 6 5 in Grapefruit League action. Mantle homered, but the second string sparked a late five run rally and Hegan delivered the decisive hit. Meanwhile the Cardinals were beaten 5 1 by the Dodgers as Lou Brock doubled and scored on a wild pitch.
