The Other Half Arts Collaborative Show Opens Weekend
The Green Mountain Arts Collaborative at 198 North St opens its third summer show on Saturday June 26 titled The Other Half. The exhibit spotlights women as unique contributors to the arts with works from painters sculptors graphic designers and craftspeople from the Northern Berkshires Eastern New York and Southern Vermont. A pre gallery reception at 8:30 p.m. follows a 7:30 p.m. women centered program in the Art's Loft featuring flute duets by Gail Schonbeck and Bliss White with accompaniment by Gerry Cuite and dancers Elizabeth Nowell and Nancy White. Readings by Judy Meneely and Kathy Donahue plus a special dance performance complete the evening.
