The Pownal Board of Civil Authority rejects Taconic Racing and Breeding Association Inc.’s appeal to lower its 1964 tax assessment. After a June 20 session the BCA notes the track’s earnings and five and a half million dollar plant value justify the existing listing, despite 1963 acceptances and 1964 gains.
