Funeral services for Percy C. Hynick in Hoosick Falls
The Hoosick Falls community gathered at Robson Home for Funerals for Percy C. Hynick of 48 River Street, a former North Bennington resident. The Rev. John Elliott conducted the service with burial in Shaftsbury after an autopsy attributed death to natural causes. Hynick, born October 7, 1919 in Shaftsbury, served in World War II and worked in the Bennington area, most recently at American Wood Board Co. in Schuylerville, N.Y. He leaves a daughter Leona, a sister in Hoosick Falls, several brothers, and nieces and nephews. The notice also mentions puppet making at St. Peter's Church and a weekly card party at the center with past winners noted.
