Bennington Officials See Tax Windfall From New Globe Union Plant
Selectmen forecast annual tax receipts from the Globe Union battery plant will exceed town costs for water mains and BCIC financing. The $160000 borrowing plan includes 60000 for water main to the Morse property and 100000 to BCIC for plant construction and equipment.
