Brattleboro escapee sought after visit to Manchester
Local and state police search for Robert Bacon 45 of Sunderland after he escaped Brattleboro Retreat and visited Manchester. He landed at Equinox Airport in an air taxi, rode a taxi to the Quality Restaurant and Battenkill Inn, and asked to be taken back to the airport. Two of his suitcases were found near the airport.
