St Peters School Leaders Honored At Dinner Tonight
A dinner for St Peters parish church school leaders is planned tonight at 6 in the parish house hosted by the Christian Education Committee chaired by Kenneth Porter. Parents will join to honor leaders and discuss the year ahead. A Saturday meeting starts with 9 am prayers and runs to noon with possible 2 to 5 pm session. classes end for summer on June 14.

Webb Calls on Women to Aid Vermont GOP Canvass

Benhi Catamount held a Junior-Senior Prom in the school gym with a Love Makes the World Go Round theme. The gym was divided into Paris New York London Rome and Hong Kong with city specific designs by Freda Betts Steve Maier Lynn Oldendorph Ann Marie Goyette Lillian Hurlburt and others. Seniors Jim Moore and Carolyn Comstock were crowned king and queen, with Doug Watkin and Shereen Croft as prince and princess.

Edward M. Leete of Bennington will receive a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force at St. Michael's College commencement. About 200 graduates will receive degrees on June 8 with 36 master’s degrees and two honorary doctorates.

Women of Moose Initiate Three Members at June Meeting
At the June 3 Moose meeting three initiates were welcomed Moira Jean C Francisco sponsored by Isabelle LaBarge Vida Harmon sponsored by Alice Garant and Bessie Hall sponsored by Mildred Colvin. An officer election was held and nine officers will be installed June 17 at 8 p m at Moose hall. Installations will include Bessie Burgess senior regent Jane Ann Potter junior graduate regent Marion Charest junior regent Arlene Joseph treasurer Anna Bahan records Mildred Colvin chaplain Nancy Livingston guide Gladys Knapp assistant guide Christine M Potter sentinel Antoinette Betit argus Helen Galipeau pianist. The Academy of Friendship night featured thanks to program chair Mildred Colvin who was assisted by Mrs Joseph. The table was blue and white with refreshments. Co chairmen donated two guide stands for future meetings and a mystery gift went to Lorraine Dusablon. Those who have not signed for the Country Club dinner June 10 at 7 p m should contact Marion Charest at 442 5991 by June 6 at 3 p m and arrange transportation with Mrs Charest. Installing officers include Gov Carlton Bahan as installing officer with Charles Rice installing guide Vernon Hollister prelate and Past Gov Sylvester Babson installing chairman.
