Marin County satire The Serial by Cyra McFadden review
A lively critique of Cyra McFadden’s The Serial portrays Marin County life as a witty, sprawling collage of quirky characters, cultural excess, and sharp humor. The piece celebrates the book’s spiral notebook format, edgy satire, and Pacific Sun origins while noting its broader pop culture echoes and California caricatures.
