The
Lucy Johnson Silk Watercolors at Park-McCullough House
Art review by Judson Brown praises Lucy M. Johnsons silk watercolors on exhibit at Park-McCullough House. The works blend weaving and painting on patches of silk, echoing the mansion's inlaid floors and stained glass, with borders that dissolve and renew the imagery. Johnsons Baltic, Celtic, and medieval influences echo in the delicate, luminous pieces.
