Bennington Faces Health Regs Gap in Mobile Home Areas
Bennington selectmen pressed state aid to enforce health rules in trailer parks as Vermont Health Department lacks inspectors. Meeting with district sanitarian Edward Rice and Town Health Officer William Fox revealed towns must assume health oversight. Rice urged town actions, noting topography and soil affect regulation, while Campbell pressed practical enforcement limits.
