Bennington Man Held on Attempted Murder Charge in Hanover
Peter Linsley, 33, of Bennington with a General Delivery address was jailed in Grafton County on $75,000 cash bail after being charged in Hanover District Court with attempted murder aggravated assault and carrying a loaded gun in an automobile. A probable cause hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. in Hanover Court. Police withheld incident details though the alleged assault occurred Friday night in Hanover. Linsley had a prior $40 fine in Bennington District Court for license plate issues and was listed with a Boulder Colorado address previously.
