A federal jury convict ed John D. Ehrlichman on three counts of perjury and one count of conspiracy related to the 1971 Ellsberg break in. Violence flares during Baltimore police strike
Governor Mandel ordered 115 state troopers into Baltimore to patrol streets after more than half the police force joined a city strike. A judge jailed three union leaders if the walkout lasts beyond 10 a.m. Monday. One looter was shot dead as violence erupted. 457 officers were suspended and 10,000 city employees are in the unionized workforce.

Teens shot in Belfast as Boyne parades loom
