Route 7 plans move toward 4f approval in Bennington County

Gov. Richard A. Snelling says federal officials will announce this week that the 4f procedure for Route 7 has been approved, potentially lifting the injunction that blocks construction. Kent State protesters vow to camp near 1970 site

About 100 demonstrators have camped on the site since May 12 to block construction of a $6 million gym complex and seek a memorial for four Kent State students shot by National Guard troops during a May 4, 1970 protest.
