Bennington Village Water Commissioners took the nursing home water service request under advisement pending a written application. David J. Alexander outlined plans for a 300 foot service line for a proposed Fairview Nursing Home on Crescent Boulevard, with street development and sewage lines to be pursued. The board noted policy requires the owner to pay installation costs with later reimbursement from taxpayers. The meeting also covered a library fixture rate adjustment, tree thinning at watershed areas, and a St Joseph Business School water service application awaiting details.
