Ethan Allen rides Route 7 in Arlington bicentennial display
Arlington statue of Ethan Allen on a white horse at the Martha Canfield Library sparks humor as visitors mistake him for Paul Revere and joke about Lexington and Concord. The plywood silhouette, created by Arlington Memorial High School shop classes, ties to two anecdotes about Allen. The piece sits before a note about Mexico’s most visited city by foreign tourists last year, Tijuana.
