Windham Night's Dream at Windham College Stuns Yet Confounds
William Gilbert Putney reviews Windham College summer theatre's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The piece shines in design and energy with Oberon and Titania delivering forceful performances, while Theseus and Hippolyta feel flat. The engaging rehearsals and strong female leads lift the show, though some scenes reveal weaker handling of Shakespeare's broader themes.
