Robinson drops pitcher again in exhibition brawl
Frank Robinson sparked a confrontation by dropping Toledo pitcher Bob Reynolds with a left right combination after Reynolds threw high at him. Robinson defended the action saying he would do it again under similar circumstances. The incident followed as Cleveland beat the Yankees 3-2, with Pat Dobson earning his first 0- game win and Robinson later driving in the go ahead run with a pinch hit sacrifice fly. Oakland beat Kansas City 5-2 as Sal Bando hit his 16th homer. Detroit topped Baltimore 4-0 with Dave Roberts firing a four hitter.
