Tragic Bennington drowning after two day rainfall
A 7 year old boy Kevin Greene of Winsted Conn. was found in the Walloomsac River near Hicks Avenue foot bridge after a two day search by more than 100 volunteers. Police fire and locals had scoured streams since the Roaring Branch incident Saturday. The boy son of Gale and Susan Greene and grandson of Francis W and Charlotte B Eddy was located about 100 yards north of the foot bridge snagged on debris. State Medical Examiner Dr Arthur S Faris ordered further examination.
